Jen Craft is a craft shop and workshop provider in Hartlepool, North East.

It is a mother-daughter (above) run business started out of annoyance at the lack of local suppliers and social groups for crafters.  We are both very excited to pass on skills, and learn new ones along the way with everyone else.

Gayle has a background in education and is excited to start her dream of being a full time faffer.  She might finaly start making a dent in her pile of UFO's (unfinished objects) and PHD's (projects half done), but we some what doubt it.  There will be a lot more being started.

Jen is a qualified accountant and has gained a love of everything crafty from her mum, well, except knitting, (but is now attempting to knit a jumper. HELP!).  The last few weeks have been a bit of a crash course on wool, Who dosen't know the difference between a 4ply and a DK?!

We have been open for a few months now and things are going well. We have a got in to a bit of a routine now. Jen makes a mess and Gayle comes in and tidies up!

Workshops and classes are on every week and we have a few 'regulars' now who just pop in for a chat and a cuppa. Please feel free to do the same. Jewelry has been made, people taught to knit and crochet, paper flowers created, cards imagined and even facinators, well, facinated. Parties have been had, special orders have been completed.
